Fitness Appraisal

A fitness appraisal is an assessment of one’s fitness level and involves such components as resting heart rate, weight, height, overall body composition, muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiorespiratory endurance, and flexibility.  It is a great first step to take as it will provide an individual with valuable information in not only planning a fitness program, but simply becoming goal oriented, both short term and long term with the final goal of living an active and healthy lifestyle.

Below you will find an example of a fitness appraisal.  This fitness appraisal was designed by CEGEP Vanier College and all credit goes out to Vanier and its educators for creating this resource.
